Resound Spring Season Finale
Come celebrate the unfolding of spring with Resound Community Choir at our Spring Season Finale!
This interactive performance will be hosted in the beautiful First Congregational United Church of Christ (20 Oak St.), in downtown Asheville, NC, on Saturday, May 31, 7pm.
Resound Community Choir, a queer-centered, non-auditioned choir (about 50-60 voices this season), will be singing songs of liberation and celebration, original pieces written by community members, Eastern European polyphonic songs, and deeply felt songs of communal grief and healing. Come prepared to join your voice with ours for the audience participation portions.
As seats are limited, and guaranteed to sell out, you will need to pre-purchase a sliding-scale ticket, at the amount of your choice. Please give according to your abundance! No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Proceeds from these tickets will be split between scholarship positions for next season, and mutual aid organizations supporting relief work here in WNC, and in Gaza. Last year we raised enough to cover 4 full scholarship positions, and raised $1500 that we donated to ROAR (Rural Organizing And Resilience) and Many Lands Mutual Aid. Thank you for helping us accomplish this vision!

Resound Community Choir - Interactive Performance
Singing in harmony can be such a transformative experience. The singers of Resound Community Choir have been mingling their voices for many months now, and we are feeling resonant and harmonized.
We are closing out our first season, and so excited to share some of these rich and fulfilling songs with the wider community.
Come bathe in the sound of these powerfully combined voices, and be prepared to join your voice with ours for the audience participation portions.
